Phoenix College regionals

Interested in studying music in college? Whether you have never had lessons before or have been studying the flute for years, consider Phoenix College! Students receive excellent one-on-one instruction in private lessons with renowned instructors and performers. Students can also participate in a variety of large performance ensembles such as:

  • Phoenix College Community Orchestra
  • Phoenix Concert Band
  • PC Jazz Combos
  • Phoenix College Jazz Orchestra
  • Superstition Jazz Orchestra
  • Phoenix College Percussion Ensemble

Phoenix College’s 2-year music major program is designed to prepare students for 4-year music programs! Available majors include composition, history, music technology, multimedia, theory, and audio recording. Certificates and degrees in Audio Production Technologies, Music Business and Electronic Music allow student to gain skills and knowledge in more specialized areas of interest. Courses and lessons are also available for non-majors looking to enrich their musical background.

Every semester flute majors receive 15 hour-long lessons and non-majors receive 15 half-hour lessons. Looking forward to hearing from you!
